Choose a two-bedroom plan by testing privacy, night-time routes and shared living space.
Two Phuket condos with the same bedroom count can suit very different households. Bedrooms on opposite sides of the living room may offer separation, while adjacent rooms can make some family routines simpler. Choose by testing your own daily use rather than treating either arrangement as universally better.
Draw the night-time routes
Mark each bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and entrance on the actual plan. Follow the route someone would take to the bathroom or a glass of water while others sleep. Check whether it crosses the living room where another person may be working or resting.
Look at the position of doors and shared walls. Ask to listen from both rooms with normal household activity, at a reasonable agreed volume. This is a practical viewing exercise, not proof of acoustic performance. If sound isolation matters to the purchase, arrange specialist assessment of the selected unit.
Test the plan with furniture
Use real bed, wardrobe and desk dimensions, including door swings and luggage space. A long corridor can consume area without improving privacy, while a door directly off the lounge may expose a bedroom whenever visitors arrive. Neither feature can be judged reliably from total floor area alone.
Consider the occupants you actually expect: a couple with a study, a family or two adults sharing. The useful arrangement may change as those needs change. Do not describe a partitioned corner as an additional legal bedroom without checking the approved plan and local requirements.
Compare like for like
Compare usable rooms, daylight, bathroom access and storage alongside purchase price and management terms. For rentals, describe the layout clearly rather than assuming that more separation produces higher occupancy.
Use buying support, developer information and the Phuket Guide. Phuket Stay Pro can compare plans and viewing evidence against your household brief.
Fact-check flags: approved room use, dimensions, alterations, acoustic performance and occupancy permissions require property-specific verification. A floor-plan preference is not a legal or rental-income conclusion.

Start with the location and buying goal. Compare handover dates, ownership options and payment terms; confirm the current price and availability for the selected unit.
