How to stay longer than 60 days: extension at immigration, visa runs, long-stay visas (including the DTV) and what matters about overstay and reporting.
The visa-exempt entry (60 days) can be extended by another 30 days at Phuket Immigration (Phuket Town). Fee ~1,900 ฿; bring passport, photo, form TM7 and copies. Done in one visit.
Leaving and re-entering for a fresh stamp. Rules have tightened: land visa runs are limited, most fly to a neighbouring country. It doesn’t guarantee entry — it’s up to the officer.
