Q2 figures describe registered foreign condo purchases nationwide, not a Phuket-only price or demand forecast. Verify local evidence for your unit.
Thailand’s second-quarter figures show a modest rise in foreign condominium transfers nationwide, but they do not establish the value or resale prospects of a particular Phuket unit. The Nation’s September 11 summary of REIC data reports 3,292 transfers in Q2 2026, up 1.4% year on year; the first-half total was 6,533, down 8.8%. These are nationwide registrations, not Phuket prices, enquiries or a forecast.
What to check before you decide
The Real Estate Information Center published its Q2 and first-half 2026 foreign condo transfer report on September 11 on its official index. The Nation summary gives both comparisons. A registered transfer differs from an enquiry, listing, reservation, rental booking or launch; the summary does not give a Phuket-only breakdown. Compare similar units in the same building or micro-location and request completed-transaction evidence where available. Verify the exact title route and foreign quota independently.
