Turn bookings, rates, costs, maintenance and cash into a monthly owner report that can be reconciled and acted on.
A dashboard should explain performance, not decorate it
Remote owners need more than a payout figure. A useful monthly report connects reservations to cash, explains operating decisions and leaves an audit trail for tax, maintenance and resale.
Minimum reporting pack
Track booked nights, available nights, owner stays and blocked inventory separately. Show gross booking value, discounts, platform charges, refunds, management fees, taxes handled, operating expenses and net cash. Reconcile opening balance, receipts, payments, reserve movements and payout to source documents.
Operational reporting should include rate changes, channel mix, cancellations, guest issues, review trends, cleaning, preventive maintenance, open repairs and approval status. Compare results with the property’s own budget and prior periods; avoid generic island yield promises.
Agree report timing, receipt access, data ownership, spending authority, cash controls and exit export before onboarding. Test one sample statement before signing.
Use the owner-statement guide, management agreement checklist, rental underwriting and management service.
